Job Summary:
Westchester Medical Center Health Network is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Board Certified Pathologist to join our team as a Medical Director for Laboratory Services. The ideal candidate will have strong general surgical pathology diagnostic skills and experience in managing clinical laboratory operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide expert diagnostic services in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology
- Lead and manage laboratory operations to ensure high-quality patient care
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to improve laboratory efficiency and effectiveness
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless patient care
- Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in pathology and laboratory medicine
Requirements:
- Board certification in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology
- Eligibility for medical licensure in New York State
