Key Responsibilities
  • Diagnose and interpret surgical pathology specimens with expertise in general and oncologic pathology
  • Participate in institutional academic and scholarly missions, including research, education, and publication
  • Support the development and implementation of educational programs for students, residents, and staff
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive patient care
  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of clinical and laboratory policies and procedures
Requirements
  • MD or MD/PhD degree from an accredited institution
  • Unrestricted medical license to practice in New York State
  • Possession of or eligibility for Certificates of Qualification (CoQ) for Medical Directorship in New York State
  • Board certification in combined Anatomic and Clinical Pathology or Anatomic Pathology
  • Additional certification or experience in subspecialty areas is a plus
