Job Title: Senior Bridge Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Bridge Engineer to join our team at TranSystems. As a Senior Bridge Engineer, you will be responsible for leading bridge design projects, managing project teams, and ensuring the successful completion of projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead bridge design projects from conceptualization to completion
  • Manage project teams, including engineers, technicians, and support staff
  • Develop and implement project plans, schedules, and budgets
  • Ensure compliance with engineering principles, company standards, and customer contract requirements
  • Collaborate with clients, stakeholders, and project teams to deliver high-quality projects
  • Develop and present proposals to clients
  • Direct the inspection of construction sites to monitor progress and ensure conformance to engineering plans and specifications
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
  • Over 10 years of experience in bridge design, rehabilitation, and evaluation
  • Ohio Professional Engineer license or ability to obtain within six months
  • Strong experience with structural/bridge design process through application of AASHTO LRFD Bridge Design Specifications requirements
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and project management skills
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Master's degree in Structural Engineering from an ABET-accredited university
  • Class I railroad bridge design experience and knowledge of the AREMA Manual for Railway Engineering
  • Design-Build experience
