About Us:
Generations Home Care is a reputable organization focused on delivering exceptional home care services to clients within the Kingston region and surrounding Kitsap County. We are currently in search of empathetic caregivers who are committed to enhancing the quality of life for our clients. We welcome Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA), Home Care Aides (HCA), or individuals who can obtain certification within 200 days of employment, with support provided for certification.
Client Needs:
This position caters to the specific requirements of a client in Kingston. The client requires assistance from 10 am to 10 pm, as they are at risk of falls and need standby support while using a walker. Additionally, companionship and respite care for the spouse are essential. The household is pet-free.
Compensation and Benefits:
- Hourly wage ranging from $19 to $21, based on certification level
- Bi-monthly payment schedule on designated dates
- Flexible scheduling to accommodate your availability

Key Responsibilities:
- Assist clients with daily living activities, including grooming, bathing, meal preparation, light housekeeping, and laundry
- Accompany clients to medical appointments and other necessary outings
- Support clients with mobility, transportation, and errands
- Follow safety protocols and medical guidelines
- Monitor medication intake and report any discrepancies
- Ensure a clean and safe environment for clients
- Provide emotional support to clients and their families
Qualifications:
- Proficient in using app-based technology for care management and time tracking
- Ability to adhere to care plans and medical protocols
- Capability to lift over 25 pounds
- CNA/HCA certification or willingness to obtain one within 200 days of hire
- Strong time management skills
- Must successfully pass a background check
- Preferred CPR/First Aid certification
- Ability to build relationships with clients and their families
