ESSHQ Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled ESSHQ Manager to lead and direct our environmental, safety, and sustainability efforts at our site. As a key contact point between our local site and regional organization, you will be responsible for monitoring and reviewing performance of ESSHQ processes and KPIs, supporting and consulting with departments, and identifying and resolving compliance risks.

• Lead and direct ESSHQ efforts at the site, ensuring compliance with corporate requirements and standards.
• Monitor and review performance of ESSHQ processes and KPIs, identifying areas for improvement.
• Support and consult with departments on ESSHQ-related matters, providing guidance and expertise.
• Identify and resolve ESSHQ compliance risks, ensuring a safe and sustainable work environment.
• Participate as a functional expert/resource for the site, providing technical expertise and support.

• Bachelor of Science in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Safety, Environmental, or related field.
• 5+ years of safety experience in an industrial/chemical plant environment.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with employees, management, and external stakeholders.
• Technical ability to review and evaluate environmental regulations, with a strong understanding of ISO requirements.
• Ability to supervise and lead direct reports, ensuring ongoing environmental compliance.
• Ability to handle multiple projects concurrently, with a strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
