Kennedy Jenks is seeking a Senior Commissioning Engineer to lead the commissioning efforts for marine port and dry dock support facilities. This role involves coordinating all facets of the commissioning process and acceptance testing as part of a collaborative design, construction, startup, and commissioning team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Overseeing and directing the commissioning activities.
  • Serving as the main liaison for commissioning tasks, which encompass mechanical and electrical systems.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
  • Licensed Professional Engineer in Mechanical Engineering.
  • Over 10 years of relevant experience, including a minimum of five years in commissioning, particularly in HVAC and pump stations, on projects of comparable scale and complexity.
  • At least five years of experience in Project Management.
  • Certification or the capability to obtain certification in one of the following:
  • NEBB Qualified Systems Commissioning Administrator (SCA)
  • ACG Certified Commissioning Authority (CxA)
  • ICB/TABB Certified Commissioning Supervisor
  • BCA Certified Commissioning Professional (CCP)
  • AEE Certified Building Commissioning Professional (CBCP)
  • University of Wisconsin-Madison Qualified Commissioning Process Provider (QCxP)
  • ASHRAE Building Commissioning Professional (BCxP)
  • Comprehensive understanding of construction project requirements, workflows, and quality assurance.
  • Exceptional facilitation, team collaboration, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with a focus on clarity and precision.
  • Meticulous attention to detail with the ability to conduct thorough quality reviews.

Compensation: The anticipated salary range for this position is between $150,000 and $215,000, which may vary based on education, experience, qualifications, licensure/certifications, and geographic considerations.
