Job Title: Automotive Line Technician

Are you a skilled mechanic looking for a challenging and rewarding career? We have an exciting opportunity for an Automotive Line Technician to join our team at Kendall Toyota of Eugene.

About the Role:
  • As an Automotive Line Technician, you will be responsible for inspecting, diagnosing, and repairing a wide range of vehicles, including Toyota models.
  • You will work independently, using your technical skills and knowledge to make decisions and complete tasks efficiently.
  • Our ideal candidate will have a minimum of two years of experience in a dealership or large independent shop, with ASE certifications preferred.
  • You will be required to operate a variety of vehicles, including automatic and manual transmissions, and must have a valid driver's license and good driving record.
Responsibilities:
  • Inspect and diagnose vehicle problems, using your technical skills and knowledge to identify the root cause.
  • Perform adjustments and calibrations, replenish fluids, disassemble and reassemble vehicle components, and repair or replace parts as needed.
  • Document all work and hours per manufacturer and Kendall policies, and road test all vehicles to ensure quality of work and issues resolution.
  • Work in a fast-paced shop environment, using mechanic's hand and power tools that produce significant vibration and force.
