We are seeking a highly skilled Fire Protection Specialist to join our team at Koch Industries. As a Fire Protection Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe operation of our industrial facilities and maintaining compliance with fire regulations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Fire Safety and Prevention: Ensure safe work practices and adhere to fire regulations of the facility.
  • Fire System Maintenance: Inspect and maintain site fire/sprinkler systems and firefighting equipment.
  • Safety Audits and Compliance: Perform safety audits and follows up on corrective actions to ensure compliance with fire regulations.
  • Sampling and Checks: Perform routine sampling and checks for the plant's compliance programs.
  • Support to Management and Employees: Provide support to management and employees to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Participation in Safety Program: Actively participate in the Safety program to improve processes as well as adhere to safety rules and regulations.
Requirements
  • Industrial Experience: Experience in an industrial, manufacturing, production, warehouse, farming, or military environment.
  • Fire Watch Experience: Experience in a Fire Watch or similar role.
Working Conditions
  • Flexible Schedule: Available for call on a 24-hour a day basis for plant fire system-related problems.
  • Physical Demands: Perform tasks such as lifting, walking, climbing, stooping, standing, pushing, and/or pulling.
