Key Responsibilities- Operate and Maintain Equipment: Ensure the safe and efficient operation of high-pressure steam boilers, emergency generators, chillers, cooling towers, and other auxiliary equipment.
- Inspect and Repair Equipment: Conduct regular inspections to identify potential issues and perform repairs as needed to maintain optimal equipment performance.
- Test and Document Equipment: Test and document all established parameters associated with equipment, including mechanical and chemical systems.
- Perform Preventive Maintenance: Follow a scheduled maintenance program to prevent equipment failures and ensure optimal performance.
- Assist with Emergency Situations: Respond to emergency situations, such as equipment failures or power outages, to ensure minimal disruption to operations.
- Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Experience: Minimum of three (3) years of experience as an Engineer with experience in maintenance and repair of HVAC high-pressure equipment.
- Licenses and Certifications: NY City Stationary Engineer License, NY City Refrigeration License - Unlimited Capacity, and NY City Fire Department Certificates of Fitness: A-35, C-42, F-60, G-60, G-71, S-12, S-13, S-95.
- Language Skills: Read, write, and speak English to understand and interpret written and verbal instructions, prepare forms, and work logs.
