About the Job

This role supports the development and operations of New Glenn, a heavy-lift orbital launch vehicle capable of carrying people and payloads to low-Earth orbit, geostationary transfer orbit, cislunar, and beyond. The first stage of this vehicle is fully reusable, and it was designed with human capability in mind.

Key Responsibilities
  • Allocate, estimate, and manage mass properties for various spaceflight systems
  • Generate data products to inform overall mass health, track risks and opportunities, and support weight and balance testing of vehicle components and stages
  • Contribute to mass properties estimation of conceptual design configurations
Requirements
  • B.S. degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering or related technical field
  • 2+ years of experience in engineering design, analysis, or mass properties management
  • Strong fundamentals in mass, center of mass, and inertia computations
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to earn trust, maintain positive and professional relationships, and strengthen our culture of inclusion
  • Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum
