Job Title: Merchandise Stocker

Woodgrain is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Merchandise Stocker to join our team in Louisville, KY.

Job Summary:

The Merchandise Stocker will be responsible for managing inventory, generating weekly credits, and providing exceptional customer service within a defined territory. This role will cover service calls when regular stockers are away on vacation and provide full service to multiple stores, usually focusing on one store per day.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Clean and maintain store aisles and displays
  • Restock messy bins and displays, and resolve bin contamination
  • Pack out freight in overhead and incoming freight from the previous week's order
  • Cull damaged or unsellable material and issue credit electronically
  • Maintain signage and pricing to best practice, and move backers to affect perception
  • Order and replenish inventory according to published guidelines
  • Build strong, dependable relationships with store management and associates
  • Complete tasks, projects, and resets of Woodgrain products in stores
Requirements:
  • Valid driver's license and proof of auto insurance
  • Own vehicle
  • Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds
Physical Demands:

The physical demands and work environment are representative of a typical manufacturing environment. The employee is frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts, moderate to high noise levels, and extreme hot and cold temperatures.
