Warehouse Stocker

Job Summary:

Restaurant Depot is seeking a skilled Warehouse Stocker - Produce Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our warehouse staff, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, stocking products on shelves, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Provides prompt, courteous, and friendly customer service to internal and external customers.

Removes boxes from pallets and places them on shelves, as well as opens boxes and removes single items to re-stock shelves.

Organizes and front-faces items on shelves to ensure a visually appealing store environment.

Performs regular inspections to meet HACCP regulations and ensures that shelf pricing is accurate and up-to-date.

Assists in reviewing inventory for product rotation daily to prevent shrinkage and damages.

Maintains a clean and safe work environment by following a regular maintenance schedule of scrubbing and pulling out pallets and cleaning underneath.

Works with Hi-Lo operators to ensure that the selling floor remains stocked and safe by promptly returning overstock pallets to the overhead reserves.

Informs supervisors of any low stock or out-of-stock merchandise.

Physical Demands:

Frequent walking/standing on concrete for up to 10 hours/day.

Frequently turning, standing, reaching, stooping, and/or bending.

Frequently pushing/pulling objects weighing 500 to 1,500 lbs.

Frequently lifting/carrying objects weighing more than 60 lbs.

Work Environment:

Frequent exposure to cold/freezing temperatures.

Equipment in motion (forklifts, electric pallet jacks, scooters).

Performs other work-related duties as required and assigned.

May be required to work in other departments as needed.
