Job Title: Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist

We are seeking a highly skilled Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist to join our team at Healthcare Staffing Plus. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for assisting with heart surgery and other medical procedures in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Prepare the procedure room and sterile field for surgical procedures
  • Setup sterile supplies, instruments, and equipment
  • Anticipate equipment required during procedures and operate equipment
  • Maintain sterile instruments
  • Function in multiple roles of the procedure team, including scrub, circulator, and documenter
Requirements:
  • Ability to read, write, and speak English
  • Well-developed organizational skills
  • Proficient in Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Good oral and written communication skills
  • Able to prioritize and plan work activities, using time efficiently
  • Able to set and achieve challenging goals
Qualifications:
  • Must be a Certified Surgical Technician or meet the NYS requirements to be grandfathered into Public Health law 2824
  • Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) through CCI
  • BLS/ACLS Certifications - American Heart Association only
