About the Role

The Cath Lab Technologist will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and assisting with cardiovascular procedures. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to work independently, and have a strong understanding of medical imaging principles.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with cardiovascular procedures, including catheterizations and angioplasties
  • Operate medical imaging equipment, such as fluoroscopy and ultrasound machines
  • Prepare patients for procedures, including administering medications and positioning patients
  • Monitor patients' responses to interventions and report outcomes to the healthcare team
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to infection control protocols

Requirements

  • At least 1-2 years of experience as a Cath Lab Technologist
  • Graduate from an accredited school of medical imaging
  • Certifications may be required based on facility requirements
  • Physical abilities to remain in a stationary position, move and lift equipment (50-100 lbs), pushing, bending, and pulling
