Job Summary

Cape Fear Community College is seeking a qualified Music Instructor to join our team. As an Adjunct Faculty member, you will be responsible for providing high-quality instruction to our students in the Music department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and deliver engaging lesson plans and instructional materials for Music Appreciation, Intro to Jazz, and applied lessons
  • Provide classroom and laboratory instruction to students, including demonstrations and hands-on activities
  • Assess student performance and maintain accurate records of attendance and grades
  • Develop and administer tests to evaluate student knowledge and skills
  • Participate in curriculum development and program evaluation
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a cohesive and effective learning environment
Requirements
  • Mastery's degree in Music or a related field
  • Experience using Blackboard educational technology
