Job Title: Music Instructor

Cape Fear Community College is seeking a qualified Music Instructor to join our team. As a Music Instructor, you will be responsible for teaching music courses to college students, including Music Appreciation, Intro to Jazz, and applied lessons.

Responsibilities:
  • Teach music courses to college students, including lecture, demonstration, and laboratory exercises.
  • Develop and prepare lesson plans and schedule classroom activities.
  • Assess student performance and provide feedback.
  • Maintain accurate records of student attendance and performance.
  • Oversee the implementation of policies and procedures related to music instruction.
Qualifications:
  • Masters degree in Music or related field.
  • Experience using Blackboard educational technology.
  • Prior experience in teaching at post-secondary level is preferred.
