Job Title: Certified Nursing Assistant

Bond Health is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team in Brooklyn. As a CNA, you will work directly under the supervision of the Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) and perform duties related to the personal needs of residents, care of supplies and equipment, and maintaining the cleanliness, comfort, and safety of the resident in their environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide or assist with bed baths, tub baths, whirlpools, and showers, ensuring the safety of the resident.
  • Provide personal grooming, including hair, nails, shaving, personal clothing, mouth care, and perineal care.
  • Prepare laundry for pick-up and return.
  • Check residents' bodies for skin care, including rashes, discoloration, or edema.
  • Feed and assist with feeding when necessary.
  • Provide a calm and pleasant environment.
  • Engage in cluster feeding while seated.
  • Monitor daily intake and keep nurses informed.
  • Record food intake on Nutrition Work Sheets.
  • Make beds properly.
  • Use recommended amounts of linen and diapers.
  • Dispose of linen in the proper manner.
  • Properly utilize clean and dirty linen carts.
  • Secure call bells to beds.
  • Beds are made in the proper manner.
  • Be knowledgeable in the procedure for linen precaution.
Requirements:
  • Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification.
  • CPR certification (preferred).
