Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated Regional Sales Manager to join our team. As a key member of our sales department, you will be responsible for managing inside, outside, and counter sales personnel, working in tandem with outside reps making calls on key accounts, and monitoring inside reps on number and quality of outgoing calls.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years in sales experience, preferably in the Janitorial/Commercial Cleaning Products industry. You should be highly motivated, able to work in a fast-paced sales environment, and possess excellent written and verbal communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage inside, outside, and counter sales personnel
  • Work in tandem with outside reps making calls on key accounts
  • Monitor inside reps on number and quality of outgoing calls
  • Set up training with key manufacturers for all sales reps and counter sales
  • Oversee systems training to assure all reps can access all information needed
  • Become proficient with the Customer Relationship Management program and monitor each sales rep's customer list to assist in growing sales
  • Monitor T&E budgets for sales reps
  • Inspect all expense reimbursement forms for approval
  • Create key initiatives for each rep in each territory to continue sales growth
Requirements
  • Minimum 5 years in sales experience
  • Prior industry experience in Janitorial/Commercial Cleaning Products preferred
  • Highly motivated and able to work in a fast-paced sales environment
  • Valid driver's license
  • Ability to travel within territory
  • Focused and organized with excellent written and verbal communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Strong time management and self-management skills
  • Demonstrates effective negotiation and closing techniques
  • Working knowledge of the Internet and MS Office tools
