**Job Summary**
As a Highway Technician with the State of Indiana, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing highways and right of ways. This includes operating basic highway maintenance and traffic equipment, maintaining and repairing traffic signs, route markers, and pavement markings, and providing assistance to the public by explaining delays and other information.
**Key Responsibilities**
* Comply with INDOT Safety Policies and Procedures
* Operate basic highway maintenance and traffic equipment to maintain, repair, and clean highways and right of ways
* Maintain, repair and install traffic signs, route markers, and pavement markings
* Provide assistance to the public by explaining delays and other information
