Job Summary

HCA Florida Trinity Hospital is seeking a Certified Surgical Tech Labor and Delivery to join our team. As a Certified Surgical Technologist, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our Labor and Delivery department. Your expertise and attention to detail will help us provide exceptional patient care and support our team of healthcare professionals.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare and maintain a sterile environment for surgical procedures
  • Assist the surgical team during procedures, including passing instruments and supplies
  • Monitor patient vital signs and report any changes to the surgical team
  • Maintain accurate records of patient information and surgical procedures
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited surgical technology program
  • Certification as a Surgical Technologist (NCCT, NBSTSA)
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Experience in Labor and Delivery or Operating Room setting
