We are seeking a highly skilled Certified Surgical Technologist to join our team at HCA Florida Trinity Hospital. Key Responsibilities- Prepare and maintain a sterile environment for surgical procedures
- Assist the surgical team with patient positioning, skin preparation, and instrument handling
- Monitor and maintain aseptic technique throughout the procedure
- Participate in the cleaning and sterilization of equipment and supplies
- Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure seamless communication and efficient workflow
- Graduate of an approved surgical tech program (CAAHEP)
- Certification as a Surgical Tech (NCCT, NBSTSA)
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Experience in a hospital-based surgical setting, preferably in Transplant/Cardiovascular OR
- Ability to perform work that requires frequent standing, bending, reaching, squatting, kneeling, moving, lifting of patients and/or equipment up to 50 pounds
- Rotating call assignments required
