Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Certified Surgical Technologist to join our team at HCA Florida Trinity Hospital. As a Certified Surgical Technologist, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our surgical suites, providing exceptional patient care, and collaborating with our surgical team to deliver high-quality outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and maintain a sterile environment for surgical procedures
  • Assist the surgical team with patient positioning, skin preparation, and instrument handling
  • Monitor and maintain aseptic technique throughout the procedure
  • Participate in the cleaning and sterilization of equipment and supplies
  • Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure seamless communication and efficient workflow
Requirements
  • Graduate of an approved surgical tech program (CAAHEP)
  • Certification as a Surgical Tech (NCCT, NBSTSA)
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Experience in a hospital-based surgical setting, preferably in Transplant/Cardiovascular OR
  • Ability to perform work that requires frequent standing, bending, reaching, squatting, kneeling, moving, lifting of patients and/or equipment up to 50 pounds
  • Rotating call assignments required
