Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Oilfield Environmental Control Technician to join our team at UCP-Personnel Services. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the environmental integrity of our oilfield projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct site inspections and assessments to identify erosion risks and develop strategies for mitigation.
  • Implement and maintain erosion control measures, including the installation of wattles, sediment barriers, and silt fences.
  • Assist with the reclamation and restoration of oilfield sites, including the removal of weeds and native plants.
  • Operate and maintain herbicide spray equipment, including trucks, ATVs, and backpack-mounted units.
  • Collaborate with project teams to develop and implement environmental management plans.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in environmental science or related field preferred.
  • 2+ years of experience in environmental control or a related field.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing project requirements.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds and work in adverse weather conditions.
