About the Role

This position will play a crucial role in the development and expansion of our Advanced Heart Failure program, focusing on providing exceptional care for patients with complex conditions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Inpatient and Outpatient Duties: Engage in a dynamic balance of inpatient care and outpatient clinic responsibilities to optimize heart failure management.
  • Program Development: Contribute to the growth and success of our Left Ventricular Assist Device program and the Cardiogenic Shock and Mechanical Circulatory Support Program.
  • Innovative Programs: Participate in the CardioMEMS program and engage in heart failure research initiatives, with opportunities to pilot new programs.
  • Quality Improvement: Support the overall performance of the Heart Failure program by collecting and measuring key quality indicators.

The ideal candidate will possess 2-3 years of post-graduate experience in advanced practice, particularly in cardiac disease and critical care management. A current, unrestricted Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physicians Assistant (PA) medical license in Idaho is required, along with valid controlled substance registration and DEA credentials.
