Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Advanced Practice Provider (APP) with expertise in cardiology and advanced heart failure to join our team at Trinity Health.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to practice in a collaborative care team model, providing exceptional care for patients with complex conditions. As an Advanced Heart Failure Specialist, you will engage in a blend of inpatient care and outpatient clinic responsibilities to optimize heart failure management.

Responsibilities
  • Inpatient and Outpatient Duties: Participate in patient assessments, develop treatment plans, and implement interventions to treat health problems.
  • Program Development: Contribute to the development of the Left Ventricular Assist Device program and participate in the growing Cardiogenic Shock and Mechanical Circulatory Support Program.
  • Innovative Programs: Engage in the CardioMEMS program and contribute to our heart failure research portfolio, with opportunities to pilot new programs.
  • Quality Improvement: Support the overall performance of the Heart Failure program by collecting and measuring key quality indicators.
Requirements
  • Experience: A preferred 2-3 years of post-graduate experience in advanced practice, particularly in cardiac disease and critical care management.
  • Licensure: Current, unrestricted Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physicians Assistant (PA) medical license in Idaho, along with valid controlled substance registration and DEA credentials.
  • Collaborative Spirit: A strong medical background and enthusiasm for developing a practice that enhances our multi-specialty medical group.
What We Offer
  • Estimated Salary: $120,000 - $150,000 per year, depending on experience.
  • An excellent compensation package including relocation assistance, PTO & CME allocation, malpractice insurance, health/dental/vision benefits, and retirement plan.
  • A schedule of weekdays, 4, 10-hour shifts.
