We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Childcare Attendant to join our team at Chinook Winds Casino Resort. As a Childcare Attendant, you will be responsible for providing exceptional care and supervision to children in our Childcare Center, while maintaining a safe and fun environment.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise and monitor children's play activities, ensuring a clean and safe environment.
- Interact with children through games, crafts, and activities, promoting social and emotional development.
- Check in and out guests, provide facility tours, and assist with information about Chinook Winds Casino Resort.
- Support leads, supervisors, and manager in creating a positive environment for children in the center.
- Assist with food service for children, stock and handle materials and supplies, and perform light janitorial duties.
- Cooperate with team members in matters of mutual concern and perform all duties in accordance with Chinook Winds Casino Resort customer service standards.
- Must be 18 years or older.
- One year of childcare experience preferred.
- Cash handling experience preferred.
- Six months customer service experience preferred.
- Basic computer experience.
- Must obtain a Siletz Tribal Gaming License, Food Handlers Permit, and VIP Permit within specified timeframes.
The Childcare Attendant will be required to stand, walk, sit, handle, and reach, with occasional climbing, crawling, squatting, and bending. The work environment will be busy and noisy, with moderate to loud noise levels.
Working ConditionsConditions of employment include passing a pre-employment drug screen, background investigation, and completing a 180-day introductory period.
SalaryThe salary for this position is $18.00-$25.20 per hour.
