Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Surveyor to join our team at Actalent. As a Surveyor, you will be responsible for conducting field and office work, including construction layout, topographic data collection, boundary research, and ALTA surveys.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct field surveys and data collection using total station and survey CAD software
  • Collect and process topographic data, including boundary research and ALTA surveys
  • Assist in the preparation of construction layouts and CAD LiDAR processing and extraction
  • Perform field data processing and construction layout calculations
  • Collaborate with the supervisor to deliver quality projects on schedule
Requirements
  • Strong knowledge of surveying principles and practices
  • Experience with total station and survey CAD software
  • Ability to work in all weather conditions
  • Flexibility with working hours
Work Environment

This role offers a mix of field and office work, with a hybrid schedule requiring some days on-site and some days remote. You will work primarily in the municipal/public sector, based out of the local office with one remote day per week after training.
