POSITION SUMMARY:
The Registered Nurse plays a crucial role in delivering nursing services to individuals seeking treatment for substance use disorders. This position involves the creation, execution, and assessment of personalized care plans tailored to each client's needs. The nurse will conduct thorough assessments and re-assessments of patients, ensuring effective communication with the interdisciplinary team. It is essential to report any client concerns and changes in their condition promptly.
KEY QUALIFICATIONS:
EDUCATION AND LICENSURE:
Completion of an accredited nursing program is required.
· Previous experience in a behavioral health, psychiatric, or addiction recovery setting is preferred.
A valid RN license from the state or a compact state, as applicable, is mandatory.
PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE:
A minimum of one year of nursing experience in the relevant clinical area is preferred.
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
1. Successful completion of State, Federal, and Central Registry background checks is required.
2. A valid driver's license, a clean driving record, and proof of personal auto insurance are necessary.
3. Current certification in basic first-aid and CPR, along with an annual TB assessment, must be maintained.
