About the Role:
We are seeking an exceptional Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner to join our team at Provider Healthcare. As a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner, you will provide compassionate outpatient care to patients of all ages, working collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team to deliver high-quality patient care.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct mental health assessments and evaluations to patients and develop a behavioral health consumer wellness and recovery treatment plan
- Collaborate and communicate effectively with Primary Care Providers and Healthcare personnel involved with patient care and treatment
- Prescribe appropriate medications to treat mental health patients in accordance with standardized procedures and company policy
- Educate patients on the importance of treatment plans and communicate side effects and risk of medications prescribed
- Demonstrate effective and detailed written documentation skills
Requirements:
- MA medical license as NP
- Current NP Adult Psychiatric/Mental Health board certification by ANCC/AANP
- CPR certification
- 1-2 years of experience
