Job Title: Seasonal Beauty Advisor

At Ulta Beauty, we're looking for a Seasonal Beauty Advisor to join our team. As a Seasonal Beauty Advisor, you will be responsible for providing exceptional guest experiences, engaging with customers to determine their individual needs, and conducting cashier tasks. You will also be responsible for maintaining overall store cleanliness, completing tasks as assigned, and supporting the leadership team through a focus on performance, people, and process.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Contribute to meeting or exceeding the store's goals related to retail and service sales, guest loyalty, and retail shrink.
  • Ensure that each guest receives exceptional service by providing a guest-friendly environment, greeting and engaging each guest entering the store, and personalizing service to their needs.
  • Courteously handle customer service, sales, refunds, and exchanges, and assist with online orders.
  • Perform makeup applications, skincare analysis, and product demonstrations with guests to drive sales and the guest service experience.
  • Book appointments for and support the execution of services and in-store events that deliver an unrivaled guest experience while delivering on sales goals.
  • Maintain prompt, regular attendance.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma is preferred.
  • 1 year of relevant work experience or equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience preferred.
  • Demonstrates a passion for guest service and competency for selling.
  • Proficient with basic technology (e.g., Point of Sale system and Apple devices).
  • Ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships.
  • Ability to troubleshoot.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Working Conditions:
  • Continuous mobility throughout the store during shift.
  • Frequent standing, bending, pulling, pushing, reaching, and twisting during shift.
  • Continuous and/or frequent lifting, carrying, and/or moving up to 25 lbs. during shift.
  • Continuous coordination and manipulation of objects during shift.

We offer a competitive hourly rate of $16.00 - $21.00, with opportunities for overtime pay. Eligible associates may also earn paid time off, health, dental, vision, life, and disability benefits.
