The Role

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Mobile Health Specialist to join our team. As a Mobile Health Specialist, you will be responsible for providing a range of preventative care and diagnostic services to patients in their homes. This will include tasks such as phlebotomy, specimen collection, diabetic foot screenings, and ECGs.

You will work independently, using your own vehicle to travel to patient homes, and will be expected to navigate stairs and carry up to 10 pounds while walking. You will also be responsible for ensuring that you have all necessary supplies and PPE with you for each patient visit.

Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality patient care and services in a home setting
  • Collect and manage patient samples, ensuring proper labeling and coordination with labs or shipment facilities
  • Use mobile devices for charting and HIPAA-secure messaging apps for care coordination
  • Work independently with minimal supervision, using problem-solving skills and out-of-the-box thinking
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients and their families
Requirements
  • State required licensure and/or proof of training
  • National certification for applicants in all states that do not have state-level licensure requirements
  • Basic Life Support certification
  • Proof of completion of course/program or certification based on licensure level
  • Valid Driver's License and Current Vehicle Insurance
  • Proof of vaccination or immunity for COVID-19, MMR, Hepatitis B, Varicella, and Influenza
Compensation

This position pays a competitive hourly wage, plus mileage and benefits, with opportunities for overtime based on a standard part-time schedule.
