Lead MRI Technologist

As the Lead MRI Technologist, your role will encompass executing both fundamental and intricate MR imaging procedures, along with post-processing tasks. This position necessitates a comprehensive knowledge of human cross-sectional anatomy, physiology, pathology, pharmacology, and medical terminology. Your advanced imaging capabilities will be showcased through proficiency in three or more of the following specialized imaging applications:

  • Cardiac and advanced cardiac/CVMR, peripheral vascular/PVMR, and/or neurovascular - EPI applications: DWI, PWI, DTI, ASL
  • Brain, Breast, or Prostate imaging
  • MR Enterography, MR Defecography, and MR Prostate utilizing endo-rectal coil
  • MR-guided fine needle biopsies for breast and/or prostate
  • Brain imaging
  • Fibroid tumor assessments

Compensation: $68.86 per hour

Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 3 years of MRI experience - required
  • Licenses:
    • ARRT, CRT - required. MR certification mandatory
  • ARRT, ARMRIT (MR) - required
  • Venipuncture certification - required
  • BCLS certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross - required
  • Graduation from an AMA-accredited Radiologic Technologist Program - required
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree - preferred
  • Experience with Siemens equipment - preferred
  • Ability to modify protocols to produce optimal diagnostic images
  • Capability to train additional MR staff while independently performing advanced procedures
