MRI Lead Technologist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced MRI Lead Technologist to join our team at California Medical Business Services. As a key member of our imaging department, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest level of patient care and safety while delivering exceptional imaging services.
Key Responsibilities- Manage the MRI department in accordance with policies and procedures set by California Medical Business Services.
- Assist management with establishing and implementing departmental policies and procedures.
- Maintain and implement quality and safety protocols regarding patient care, exam procedures, and equipment.
- Train and supervise MRI technologists on procedures and changes.
- Participate in selecting, hiring, and interviewing of MRI technologists.
- Provide new-hire orientation and initial training for new technologists.
- Assign work and supervise daily operations of MRI areas.
- Ensure that MRI technologists complete required training courses.
- Responsible for maintaining technologists' licensing and CME documentation.
- Assist with performance evaluations and written and verbal counseling of MRI technologists.
- Minimum of 1 year of lead or supervisory experience or equivalent.
- At least 3 years of Magnetic Resonance Imaging experience.
- Advanced computer skills, including knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and Access.
- Strong work ethic and ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Dependability and provision of excellent customer service to physicians and patients.
- Graduation from an accredited school of Radiologic Technology and/or Magnetic Resonance Imaging.
- Possess current and valid Magnetic Resonance Imaging Certification through ARRT or ARMRIT.
