Key Responsibilities:- Collaborates effectively with educational leaders, faculty, and support staff.
- Delivers direct healthcare services using professional assessment skills and established health protocols.
- Maintains comprehensive and confidential health records for students.
- Acts as a liaison between families, healthcare providers, and school personnel.
- Participates in meetings concerning students with identified health needs.
- Develops and assesses individualized healthcare plans for students.
- Works alongside district personnel, including special education staff.
- Educates staff on various health-related topics.
- Contributes to the development of health and wellness policies for the campus.
- Provides guidance during health crises or emergencies.
- Engages in ongoing professional development as required by nursing regulations.
- Supervises and trains other healthcare staff and assistants.
- Manages inventory and requisitions necessary supplies for the health clinic.
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- CPR Certification.
- Experience in managing student health cases.
- Ability to implement and adhere to health policies.
- Proficient in computer applications.
- Strong writing and reporting skills.
- Excellent organizational and communication abilities.
- Minimum of one year of nursing experience.
- Deeply committed to service.
- Team-oriented with a collaborative spirit.
- Exhibits a compassionate approach to healthcare.
Completion of background checks as mandated by state regulations.
Physical Requirements: Role involves standing, sitting, and performing various physical tasks, including lifting equipment up to 50 pounds.
