Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit Registered Nurse

Travel Nurse Source is partnering with Amare Medical Network to find a skilled CVICU RN in Austin, Texas. This is a unique opportunity to work in a dynamic environment and provide comprehensive care for critically ill patients with a primary cardiac diagnosis.
Job Responsibilities:- Perform intense monitoring of patients and care for those requiring Intra-aortic balloon pumps, external temporary pacemakers, and continuous renal replacement therapy.
- Work closely with the Cardiac Catheterization Lab to assist in quick diagnosis and treatment of patients requiring percutaneous coronary intervention for ST elevation myocardial infarction.
- Respond to all cardiac and respiratory arrests in the hospital and assist with immediate treatment of critically ill patients.
- Provide emotional support for patients and their families and educate them on how to manage post-treatment home care needs.
