Gpac is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Superintendent to join our team. As a Superintendent, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our water and wastewater treatment plants, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and maintaining a safe working environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and supervise a team of operators and maintenance personnel to ensure efficient and effective plant operations.
- Develop and implement safety protocols to prevent accidents and ensure compliance with OSHA regulations.
- Monitor and control plant processes to optimize water and wastewater treatment, and minimize environmental impact.
- Collaborate with contractors and suppliers to ensure timely and cost-effective completion of projects.
- Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in water and wastewater treatment plant operations, with a focus on management and supervision.
- Strong knowledge of water and wastewater treatment processes, including chemical treatment, biological treatment, and sludge management.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and direct a team.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
