Compensation: $23 per hour
Shift: First
Work Hours: 6 AM - 2:30 PM
Education Requirement: High School Diploma or equivalent

Key Responsibilities:

  • Achieve certification in soldering and assembly per IPC-610 Class 3 and J-Std-001 standards.
  • Independently construct intricate electronic assemblies, including terminal boards, printed circuit boards, and heat sinks.
  • Rework faulty sub-assemblies, encompassing both Surface Mount and Through-hole technologies.
  • Adhere to assembly blueprints, bills of materials, and specialized model sheets.
  • Employ advanced soldering and de-soldering techniques to ensure high-quality production.
  • Utilize measuring instruments, testing devices, and hand tools such as air drivers, screwdrivers, and presses as necessary.
  • Interpret and analyze drawings, bills of materials, and blueprints with precision.
  • Make minor procedural decisions in soldering, fitting, and other tasks while adhering to established workmanship standards.
  • Receive detailed instructions for new tasks and limited guidance for routine operations.
  • Verify that drawings correspond with the bill of materials.
  • Contribute to ongoing continuous improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing quality, productivity, and safety of electrical systems.

Essential Functions:

  • Work in a smoke-free environment.
  • Wear steel-toed footwear.
  • Operate in a non-temperature controlled setting.
  • Perform manual lifting of up to 35 lbs.
  • Be available for up to 2 hours of overtime weekly.
