Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Nursing Station Technician to join our team at Fairview Southdale Hospital. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care and supporting the professional caregivers in our unit.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist professional caregivers in delivering patient care, including transporting patients and equipment, setting up and maintaining patient rooms, and reordering supplies.
  • Perform a wide range of clerical, transcription, and maintenance tasks to support the patient care unit desk area.
  • Coordinate the flow of communication on the patient care unit, ensuring seamless collaboration among team members.

Requirements:

  • Basic Life Support (BLS for Healthcare Providers) certification required.
  • One or more of the following: successful completion of Fairview's OnTrack Nursing Assistant training program, six months of recent direct care experience, or current enrollment in an LPN, RN, or Nurse Practitioner program.
