Job Overview

Express Oil Change & Tire Engineers is a leading provider of automotive maintenance services with over 350 locations across 21 states. We are seeking a skilled General Service Technician to join our team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform oil changes and oil filter replacements on cars and light trucks
  • Provide tire care services, including installation, repair, and rotation
  • Inspect and top off engine fluids
  • Lubricate frontend parts as needed
  • Conduct thorough vehicle inspections using a checklist of potential trouble spots
  • Move and operate customer vehicles into and out of service bays
  • Maintain positive customer relationships and provide excellent customer service
  • Work collaboratively with coworkers and management to achieve team goals
  • Ensure tools, equipment, and work areas are clean and functional
  • Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a safe working environment
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • One year or more of experience in basic car care preferred but not necessary
  • Customer-focused attitude and ability to work well in a team environment
  • Mechanical aptitude and ability to learn new skills
  • Valid driver's license and ability to pass a pre-employment background screen
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work Saturdays
Physical Demands
  • Prolonged periods of standing, stooping, and bending
  • Exerting up to lbs of force occasionally and/or lbs of force frequently and/or greater than 10 lbs of force constantly to move objects
  • Working at a production rate pace requiring constant pushing and/or pulling of materials
