Position Overview

We are looking for a driven and seasoned accounting professional eager to elevate their career. The ideal candidate will excel in a dynamic, fast-paced business environment and demonstrate the adaptability necessary to thrive in an innovative organization. This role is crucial to the corporate accounting team, facilitating the close and consolidation process while focusing on continuous improvement to achieve exemplary results.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee and engage in consolidation activities during the monthly close, including foreign currency remeasurement, translation, and cost allocations.
  • Assist in managing master data maintenance tasks, including the chart of accounts and departmental structures.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline and expedite the close and reporting cycle, recommending process and system enhancements to boost efficiency and effectiveness while ensuring robust internal controls.
  • Prepare journal entries and account analyses for internal legal entity restructuring and external general ledger accounting.
  • Support cross-functional teams, including revenue, tax, and cost accounting, with journal entry postings and account analyses.
  • Conduct general account reconciliations and analyses for assigned accounts, including internal equity.
  • Assist in analyzing monthly Balance Sheet fluctuations.
  • Prepare monthly reporting schedules for executives, providing insights and noting fluctuations from previous periods.
  • Support Sarbanes-Oxley documentation for key Balance Sheet and Income Statement accounts and relevant control activities.
  • Assist in the preparation of quarterly SEC financial reports, including cash flow statements, footnotes, and disclosures.
  • Proactively identify issues and assist in optimizing systems, upgrades, and the automation of accounting processes.
  • Support quarterly reviews and annual audits conducted by external auditors.
  • Prepare ad-hoc analyses and special projects as required.
  • Assist with quarterly, interim, and year-end audits.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field.
  • 6+ years of relevant experience, including familiarity with general accounting, intercompany transactions, account reconciliations, multi-currency consolidations, and financial reporting.
  • Public accounting/audit experience with an active CPA license is preferred.
  • Experience with SAP and Oracle systems is preferred.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy is essential.
  • Advanced Excel proficiency.
  • Self-motivated with strong communication skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities. A collaborative spirit is vital, particularly in working with international teams and internal/external auditors.
  • A willingness to tackle and resolve challenges in a fast-paced environment.
