Job DescriptionWe are seeking an organized and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to support the Human Resources department at the Klamath-Trinity Joint Unified School District. As a key member of our team, you will provide critical administrative support, ensuring seamless day-to-day operations.
About the Role
This position requires a professional with excellent communication and organizational skills, able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. You will be responsible for managing calendars, coordinating travel arrangements, preparing meeting materials, and maintaining accurate records.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide administrative support to HR staff members, including scheduling appointments and meetings.
- Prepare and distribute meeting materials, take minutes, and maintain accurate records.
- Develop and implement efficient filing systems, both physical and digital.
- Ensure confidentiality and discretion when handling sensitive information.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of district policies and procedures.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in an administrative role, preferably in an educational setting.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team.
Salary and Benefits:
This full-time position offers a competitive salary range of $24.77 - $30.30 per hour, commensurate with experience. A comprehensive benefits package includes medical, dental, vision, and retirement savings options.
