Job Title: Licensed Therapist

Sierra Health and Wellness is seeking a Licensed Therapist to join our team. As a Licensed Therapist, you will work with clients who are struggling with addiction and mental health issues. You will provide individual, group, and family therapy sessions, as well as participate in evaluative and diagnostic staff conferences.

Responsibilities:

  • Assess and monitor clients' behaviors while in treatment for chemical and alcohol abuse and dependency.
  • Conduct individual, family, and group therapy sessions.
  • Participate in collaborative treatment with representatives of other agencies.
  • Prepare verbal, written, and statistical reports.
  • Attend conferences, workshops, and training to maintain current awareness of mental health methodologies and issues.

Requirements:

  • Must possess a master's degree in social work, marriage and family therapy, or professional counseling.
  • Must obtain an associate registration number with the Board of Behavioral Sciences.
  • Must possess a valid Driver's License.
  • Two-year experience in Drug and Alcohol counseling (preferred, not required).
