About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Technical Operations Project Manager to join our team at American Airlines. As a key member of our Technical Operations group, you will be responsible for managing visioning, planning, and execution of business transformation aircraft maintenance operation programs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Facilitate program visioning, road mapping, and execution of key activities across multiple Tech Ops functional teams, enabling workstreams, and third-party vendors.
  • Work with project champions, impacted business function owners, and supporting teams to formulate and evaluate possible paths forward and key decisions.
  • Coordinate dependencies across processes and organizations.
  • Persuasively make recommendations for improvements to existing processes.
  • Prepare and deliver program updates to numerous audiences and Senior Leaders at Tech Ops strategic forums.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or Master's degree or equivalent experience/training.
  • 5+ years of direct Project Management experience or relevant experience.
  • Evidence of direct Project Management experience.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Current PMP certification.
  • Maintenance operations background/experience in one or more Technical Operations areas.
