Job Title: Light/Medium Duty Tow Operator

Quantum Towing and Recovery is seeking a dedicated and skilled Light/Medium Duty Tow Operator to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing top-notch towing services to our customers in the greater central TX area.

Responsibilities:
  • Drive to the scene of an accident or vehicle breakdown promptly and safely.
  • Connect the damaged vehicle to the tow truck securely and efficiently.
  • Tow the vehicle to a service station or junkyard, following all safety protocols and regulations.
  • Maintain the tow truck and equipment in good working condition, performing regular checks and maintenance as needed.
  • Perform basic vehicle diagnostics and troubleshooting as required, communicating effectively with dispatch and customers to provide updates on service status.
  • Adhere to all traffic and safety regulations while operating the tow truck, ensuring a safe and efficient service.
  • Maintain accurate records of services provided and any incidents encountered, providing valuable insights for future improvements.
Qualifications and Skills:
  • At least 21 years old.
  • Valid TDLR license or ability to obtain one.
  • Pass a background check and submit to a drug test prior to employment.
  • Experience in transportation is preferred, but not required.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle stressful situations calmly.
  • Clean driving record with no tickets or accidents in the past 5 years.
  • Availability to work nights and weekends as needed.
