Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and facilitate proposal initiatives for our U.S. Federal Agency clientele.
- Direct strategic discussions and initial meetings for major pursuits, ensuring that strategic win themes are seamlessly integrated throughout the proposal.
- Collaborate with the team to develop various proposal sections, including Management, Personnel, Executive Summaries, and other necessary volumes.
- Ensure the production and delivery of the final product align with all RFP specifications.
- Assist in the development and execution of interview processes from inception to completion.
- Participate in client capture planning alongside the Market Leader, Regional Business Development Leader, and key Technical Leads.
- Engage in the interview process to fulfill client requirements and align proposal themes with insights gathered during the pre-positioning phase.
- Attend interview preparation and practice sessions, providing support to the team in presentation skills and delivery.
- Lead and contribute to the successful creation of compliant, competitive, and compelling proposals through effective teamwork.
- Prepare and conduct consistent and efficient proposal kick-off meetings and group status calls, ensuring adherence to the Proposal Development Plan.
- Guarantee compliance and high-quality content and presentation of final proposal submissions.
- Proven ability to lead and collaborate effectively with Capture Managers and Technical Leaders.
- Confident demeanor with strategic thinking capabilities to assist teams in developing effective marketing, pursuit, and proposal strategies.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills, both written and verbal, along with strong negotiation, problem-solving, presentation, planning, and time management abilities.
- Adaptable and capable of meeting challenging deadlines.
- Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently and adjust to shifting priorities and assignments.
- Expertise in the proposal development process.
- Engage team support to accomplish proposal-related tasks.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in English, Business, Communications, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field.
- Familiarity with A/E Proposals, Standard Forms (SF330), and Brooks Act requirements.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience leading the proposal process from pre-positioning phases through interviews, driving teams to develop compliant and competitive bids for engineering, construction, or professional services organizations.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and InDesign.
