Physician - Primary Care Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Physician to join our team at North East Medical Services (NEMS). As a Primary Care Specialist, you will provide high-quality medical care to patients in our San Francisco and San Jose clinics. Your expertise will be invaluable in delivering exceptional patient outcomes and contributing to the growth and success of our organization.
Key Responsibilities- Provide primary, urgent, or specialty medical care to patients in accordance with your medical specialty.
- Develop and implement individualized plans of care for each patient, including complete medical history, physical examination, diagnosis, treatment, and referral when necessary.
- Order, perform, and interpret diagnostic tests and explain the results to patients.
- Prescribe medications or therapies as needed.
- Collaborate with consulting physicians, nurses, patients, and patient families to ensure comprehensive care.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of performance improvement plans for NEMS.
- Graduation from an accredited school of medicine.
- Licensed to practice medicine in the State of California.
- Ability to work as a team with other health professionals and non-medical personnel.
- Board eligible or certified in Family Practice, Internal Medicine, Pediatrics, Ob/Gyn, or Emergency Medicine.
- Current documentation of Basic Life Support.
- Fluent in Chinese (Cantonese and Mandarin) is preferred.
- Fluent in other languages is an asset.
