Job Overview:
We are seeking a seasoned Project Manager with a strong background in managing complex initiatives within the banking sector, specifically in the Sanctions Screening or Payments space. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills and a proven track record of successful project execution.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans, including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and senior management to ensure project alignment with business objectives.
- Identify and manage project risks, issues, and dependencies, implementing effective mitigation strategies.
- Conduct regular project status meetings, providing clear and concise updates to stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies related to Sanctions Screening or Payments.
- Facilitate project-related decision-making processes, ensuring effective governance and control.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the PMO, enhancing project delivery methodologies and tools.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Information Technology, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
- Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in project management, with a focus on Sanctions Screening or Payments within the banking sector.
- PMP, PRINCE2, or other relevant project management certification preferred.
- Strong understanding of banking regulations and compliance requirements related to Sanctions Screening or Payments.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to manage complex projects with multiple stakeholders.
- Proficiency in project management tools and software (e.g., MS Project, JIRA, Trello).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
