Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Field Service Administrative Coordinator to support our field service effort across the region. This role will provide administrative assistance to our field service lead technician and/or regional manager in customer planning and follow-up.

Responsibilities
  • Receive and track incoming field service requests, ensuring accurate details such as travel, pricing, materials needed, and required workforce.
  • Maintain customer, industry, and IPS training requirements for all team members.
  • Schedule field service projects by evaluating calendars and communicating with involved parties.
  • Perform VOC reviews with customers to improve customer experience and drive value for IPS.
  • Create quotes for Field Service Manager/lead technician and AGM review.
  • Verify pricing and work orders before sending to Sales department for review.
  • Communicate with customers regarding technical aspects of field service requests while maintaining professionalism.
  • Schedule and coordinate safety training.
  • Ensure completion and delivery of field service reports to customers in a timely manner.
  • Maintain relevant logs and documentation.
  • Collaborate with customers and sellers to obtain POs for jobs.
  • Process job cost detail report upon job completion, verifying labor, materials, and required data.
Requirements
  • Tech background with electrical and/or mechanical products preferred.
  • 3+ years of customer service experience in an industrial environment or equivalent education.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, including building rapport with customers.
  • Critical attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills, both oral and written.
  • Ability to understand, perform, and retain job-related training.
  • Flexibility with hours, overtime, and occasional weekend work.
  • Proficiency in MS Office suite.

$62,000 - $72,000 per year, depending on location and experience.
