Job Summary

This position is responsible for providing clinical supervision to QMHPs (trainees and paraprofessionals) at Lighthouse Therapeutic Services, LLC. The incumbent will perform initial assessments, make diagnoses, and provide guidance on safe and therapeutic practices.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform initial assessments and make diagnoses
  • Provide clinical supervision to caseworkers and document all supervision activities
  • Develop and implement Individual Service Plans in conjunction with MHS caseworkers
  • Monitor and review individual progress according to existing standards and policies
  • Review clinical files to ensure compliance with regulations
  • Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
  • Licensed by the state of Virginia in one of the following areas: LCSW, LPC, or in residency working towards licensure
  • Registered with the Virginia Board of Social Work or Counseling
  • Minimum of two years working with adults, adolescents, and family issues
  • Meet VDBHDS/DMAS criteria to qualify as a LMHP/LMHP-E
  • Valid state driver's license
  • CPR training certification
  • Standard First aid Training certification
Working Conditions

This position involves office contact with program director and staff for purposes of clinical supervision during regular office hours.
