Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled CDL B Driver to join our team at Atlantic Plywood Corporation. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for delivering and picking up products in a timely, safe, and courteous manner.

Responsibilities
  • Maintain accurate driver logs and complete pre-trip inspections
  • Follow all corporate operational procedures and quality control standards
  • Adhere to all safety requirements, including Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations
  • Maintain the service and appearance of all company vehicles
  • Follow delivery/pickup instructions from the Warehouse Manager and/or Sales Manager
  • Perform any other duties as assigned by the Warehouse Manager and/or Sales Manager
Requirements
  • Authorization to work in the US
  • High school diploma / GED
  • Valid Commercial Class B Driver's License and clean driving record
  • Current Medical Card
  • Good understanding of safety procedures and use of personal protection equipment (PPE)
  • Good organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to work unsupervised as well as in a team
  • Ability to start early, work late occasionally as needed
  • Must have a pre-employment physical, drug test, MVR, and background check upon hire
Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous CDL Driving experience
  • Previous warehouse experience
  • Flatbed and/or tractor-trailer experience
  • Experience hauling lumber or other building materials
