Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled CDL Driver to join our team at RoadSafe Traffic Systems. As a CDL Driver, you will be responsible for safely operating a variety of heavy equipment, including paint trucks and milling machines, to perform traffic control and pavement marking services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate and maintain heavy equipment, including paint trucks and milling machines, to perform traffic control and pavement marking services.
  • Install and remove traffic control devices, such as cones and barricades, to ensure safe and efficient traffic flow.
  • Perform pavement marking and striping services, including installing and removing thermoplastic and paint markings.
  • Work with contractors and field personnel to ensure that all work is completed safely and efficiently.
  • Complete daily paperwork accurately and on time.
  • Work well in a team environment and provide excellent customer service to all customers.
Requirements
  • Valid CDL and good driving record.
  • 2-5 years of driving experience required.
  • HAZMAT certification preferred but not required.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Ability to read and write in order to complete paperwork and comply with road signs.
  • Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and stand, sit, and bend for long durations.
Work Environment

Regularly exposed to outside weather conditions, moving equipment and machinery parts, moving traffic, and fumes and airborne particles. Noise level of the work environment is usually moderate/loud.

Regularly required to stand/walk, reach with hands and arms, and lift and/or move more than 50 pounds throughout the shift.

Must be able to travel overnight and work rotating days and nights.
